I'm a Chemical Engineer with a rich background in the field and have worked full-time at companies from Disney to Chevron, and across five distinguished oil and chemical companies. A passionate lifelong learner, I have spent the last decade speaking at high schools, mentoring co-ops, and teaching STEM topics to children from ages 18 months to 18 years. I graduated Summa Cum Laude (highest honors) in Chemical Engineering at Auburn University in 2012.

With three kids of my own and a passion for education, I now coach students interested in Engineering to first get into the perfect college with the right major for them, and then to STAY in until they graduate - no small feat, but a vital part of making the best use of your education dollars and getting the best start in your fulfilling career.

As a STEM content creator on social media who has reached millions, I often handle messages from former Straight A students whose mental health is now suffering due to Engineering classes. I take my de facto mentorship role very seriously in these cases, but I know not all kids in crisis are reaching out when they need to. As one of my personal mentees, your student will know that I am someone who has been there, won't judge them, and can gently guide them to the help they need in these all-too-common situations.
